Why the name Sleeping Sparrows?

Our business name means far more than just a name. Sleeping Sparrows was chosen by Sam in honour of our incredible brother, Jason, who sadly passed away unexpectedly at just 28 years old due to epilepsy. His gaming name was Sleeping Sparrows, and choosing it for our business allows a little piece of him to live on every single day. He is missed beyond words, and not a day goes by that we don’t think about him. Everything we build through Sleeping Sparrows is done with love, family, kindness, and a little bit of Jason’s spirit beside us.

Hey guys! 👋

I am a mam of two who I adore more than anything. They keep me busy and bring so much light to my life. Due to a decline in my physical health, I’m hoping to eventually move from my full-time job and spend more time growing our little business, Sleeping Sparrows. I’ve also recently been diagnosed with combined ADHD and autism, which has helped me understand myself so much better. Although life has its challenges, I love being creative and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.

I’m a proud mam to two amazing children who are my absolute world. They keep me on my toes, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way! I also help run Sleeping Sparrows. I live with long-term health conditions, and my dream is to one day leave my part-time job so I can focus on growing Sleeping Sparrows and doing what I love every day. I’m currently awaiting for an ADHD assessment after years of wondering why my brain works the way it does! Creativity has always been my happy place, Whether I’m making bracelets or coming up with new ideas and products, it helps me switch off and brings me so much joy.

When I’m not helping behind the scenes, I love spending time with my family and relaxing. I can’t wait to share this journey with you all! 🥰
